Super Bowl Bound

AFC CHAMPION

Baltimore Ravens @ New England Patriots

It almost seems like destiny for Ray Lewis to win a Super Bowl in his final season in the NFL. Unfortunately, however, fatigue is going to have to set in during the AFC Championship. The Patriots had a bye in week 1 of the playoffs, and played a fairly laid back game against the Houston Texans, while the Ravens had to grind a game out at home against the Colts and go into a second overtime in a track meet with the Broncos. The Ravens may keep it close early, but they just won't have enough as the Patriots will run their hurry up offense and wear the Ravens D out in the end.

NFC CHAMPION

San Francisco 49ers @ Atlanta Falcons

I am going against the grain here. With Colin Kaepernick behind center, the 49ers have proven to be a different team on the road. Since taking over the QB position, both of the 49ers losses came on the road @St Louis and @Seattle. It is easy to succeed when everyone is behind you, but it is quite a different story in a hostile environment. Now that the Falcons have gotten that much needed 1st playoff win with Matt Ryan, I think they can and will settle in and just play football.
